Dane Court has been a place of dramatic change recently; what with new buildings, new equipment, new qualifications, new ID cards (new website even). It's all a little bewildering and it's not over yet.
Year 11 students are again celebrating success after an excellent set of GCSE results. 95% of students gained five or more A*to C passes at GCSE including English and Maths and 97% of students were awarded more than five A*to C GCSE passes with 38% of all subjects being passed at A* or A grade.
On 12 July 2011 Thanet School Sport Partnership held its annual gathering at the Margate Winter Gardens to celebrate all aspects of sport but with particular emphasis on participation in schools. Dane Court teachers Kim Van Hinsbergh and Derek Towe each received awards for their dedication to teaching PE and sport in Thanet.
