Year 7 students took part in the International Food Evening with great panache this year, presenting dishes from over 40 different countries. All corners of the world were represented. Parents and visitors were bowled over by the huge variety of foods that the students had cooked. Many Parents admitted that they honestly did not know what to expect and could not believe the scale of the displays. Lizzie Hughes, Mother of Molly in Year 7 said it was like a professional food fair. She could not believe what she was seeing! Over 600 people attended.

On Thursday 15 November 2012 four young men and two older men traveled to Eastwell Manor, Ashford to represent a squad of twenty players, a PE department and a school.
Having been nominated for Kent Regional Newspaper's Young Team of the Year in the summer of 2012 it had been lengthy journey to this point. Students, parents, family and friends of both players and staff alike had been asked to vote for this team of worthy young men. Since their coming together as a team in year seven they have grown as individuals but more significantly as a group.

The week started in fine style as both our U13 Girls and U13 Boys secured excellent victories over local opposition The Boys must have thought they had gained performance of the day with a 6-0 victory over Hereson and Ellington, the goals were scored by Jack Walton (3), Luke Powell and Tom Halfpenny, the final goal was an own goal. Their high spirits at such a victory were to be complemented by the return of their female counterparts who had comprehensively outscored them in their away fixture at Ursuline, proudly returning on the bus the Girls had brought back an 11-0 victory over the Ursuline School to finish this half term on a high for the whole year group. The goals were scored by Emily Downs (2), Omega Skeen (2), Kealy Goldsmith, Sarah Villasenor and Kyra Macrae who was the undoubted star of the show with a five goal haul.

Dane Court Grammar School once again dominated the Kent Schools Biathlon Championships held at the Tonbridge School on Sunday 21 October 2012. Dane Court fielded an incredibly strong team of swimmers but for the second year running walked away with the best Secondary School award.
