Year 12 IB Higher Level mathematicians have spent some of their "creative" hours trying out some tandoori cooking. Mr Ali and his colleagues from The Tandoori Nite restaurant in Birchington were on hand to show the ropes and explain the spices.
So what did the students think?
"A culinary learning experience, and I now know how to cook my favourite Indian food Korma and Onion Bhajis!"
"Everything was lovely and the Chicken Tikka was particularly tasty! Thanks Ali"
"It was really interesting to see how much work goes into our takeaways and the food was delicious.
Their next experience will be "Ready, steady, uni-cook"

The whole year group dressed in their finery (i.e. smart business wear), looked the part and through a series of workshops in the morning received excellent instruction in how to continue with and fulfill the project's aims.
