Visits

The Iceland trip this year was another awesome experience and we managed to pack in even more adventurous activities than ever before – from glacier walking with ice axes and crampons, sledging, skidooing, river fording, bridge building, iceberg and seal spotting, moss kissing, waterfall scrambling, geyser watching, magical gorge walking, lava tubing/caving, glacier spotting, geothermal pool wallowing and many many 'Ash' time keeping and 'Ash' miles moments even our guide said that this group had managed to do far more than the average school group.

My thanks go to the staff and students who made the trip so successful and memorable. We are to be made famous by the cinematographer and company representative that accompanied us this year and we will be used in future promotion for trips to Iceland with Discover the World. Our fabulous guide this year was so impressed by the trip that he has already asked to be with the Dane Court group next year.

The Iceland diary is already up to 59 pages and, as in previous years, promises to be a visual feast of exciting memories. The gallery below gives you just a little taste and will be added to in the next few days.
