Kent Mountain Centre 2011

gorge11_150px

36 year nine students recently spent an exciting week at Kent County Council's outdoor activities centre in North Wales. Being situated right on the edge of Snowdonia National Park and only 30 minutes drive from the rocky coast of Anglesey, there were enough wet and wild adventures for everyone to experience every day.

Our pupils spent at least two days walking on the mountains around the Kent Mountain Centre and many also had the opportunity to climb, abseil, traverse sea cliff and explore mountainside gorges. They spent their evenings tackling outdoor team building challenges, scaling the indoor climbing wall and writing the blog which you can read here.
