On Friday 11 May we said farewell to our year eleven students. They haven't gone far (and will soon return to take their GCSE examinations) but we celebrated their hard work over the last five years with their very own red carpet arrival watched by the rest of the school. For the first time this year, and at the the request of the students themselves, they were welcomed to school by Mr Towe who gave the assembled crowd a running commentary as the formally dressed students made their way along the carpet. After taking advantage of numerous photo opportunites the entire year, along with their mentors, gathered in the theatre where each form made a short presentation of fond memories accumulated during their time at Dane Court. We wish all our year 11 students the very best as they prepare to meet the challenge of their examinations period.
