Year 10 students become Sixth Formers for two days...

Last week year 10 students experienced a range of post 16 International Baccalaureate subjects which gave a closer insight into the options available to choose from next year.

Not only were they able to select from the full array of academic courses that will be taught here at Dane Court but the students were also introduced to extracurricular activities to extend extend their experience beyond the classroom.

The IB aims are for students to develop their natural curiosity and to become thinkers and communicators who are both risk takers and open minded in their approach to life.

Students were delighted with this opportunity as is borne out by their evaluation of the experience. The overwhelming majority of students said they enjoyed a rich and varied time with staff who are dedicated to making their time in our sixth form as rewarding, challenging and reflective as possible.
