On Friday 13 May 2011 our current Year Elevens went on study leave before the start of their GCSE examinations. On their last day of school we celebrated their transition to further education by the whole school gathering to watch the beautifully and formally attired young people walk down the red carpet towards the entrance of the school. The Year Eleven students then attended an extended assembly in which students and teachers gathered to remember times past and to celebrate bright futures to come.
