Year 8 students have been particularly busy in their food technology lesson recently. Each prepared and baked a small Christmas cake and then went on to ice and decorate it to their own design. The food technology staff received the completed masterpieces this week and put more than 150 of them on display in their kitchen spaces.
After careful judging the display was visited by students and parents. The imaginative variety of designs and colours was a spectacular sight.
House points were awarded for the winning cakes giving the following results:
First: Sorrento
Second: Neuchatel
Third: Tallinn
Fourth: Helsinki
Fifth: Delphi
Sixth: Barcelona
