ruddle_winners_11_200px.jpgOn Thursday 17 November the Inter-house drama competition saw Sorrento win the George Ruddle, Drama competition trophy. After coming first in both the junior and senior competition, Sorrento were the clear winners of this very significant award.

Lily Jellet and Rebecca Friend represented 7S, who performed a inspiring performance of Roald Dahl's poem 'Television'. Both girls expressed every emotion to their audience and showed real talent in acting, they will be ones to look out for in the future. The house captains, Maria Steffanini and Samuel Hornsey were a last minute effort to ensure Sorrento had a senior entry. Thankfully they pulled it out of the bag in their performance from Shakespeare's 'Much Ado About Nothing'.

This was another triumph in Sorrento's campaign to win the house cup after many years of defeat, yet the battle is not over with the black bin-bag fashion competition and the Talent shows still to come.
