Annie Hale, Head of Sixth Form, said "Our hard working students have again surpassed the international average mark for the IB, proving what a key role Thanet now has in the IB world. I am so proud of them and of their excellent teachers and wish them well in their exciting future careers."
Executive Headteacher, Paul Luxmoore, said "This was our last small cohort of IB students. Every Sixth Former at Dane Court now studies either the IB Diploma or the IB Careers Related Certificate. Dane Court has committed itself to the International Baccalaureate, as has King Ethelbert School and The Ellington Hereson School. Of all the things that Dane Court has achieved over the years, I am most proud of our commitment to the International Baccalaureate and the outstanding impact that it is having in raising aspirations and standards. It is simply the best qualification in the whole world that any school can offer its students – and it is now the standard offer for all Dane Court students."
