Joann attended the World Kick Boxing Championship this summer in a week long event in Germany. Over the course of the week she competed in three individual events; light sparring and semi – contact sparring both in the under 55Kg category and the Korean forms.
In all three events she won gold medals and was selected for the junior female team competing in the light and semi contact sparring categories where the team won silver in both events.

Jo said "It was a very successful week and I am extremely happy, all the hours of training have completely paid off".
